This prominent 40 staff firm located in the North of Melbourne, conveniently located near public transport and parking have a need for an intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of complex financial statements;
• Preparing management accounting reports for review;
• Reviewing tax and FBT returns and identifying non-compliance issues from them;
• Business advisory services
• Providing tax planning advice for clients;
• Preparing tax returns for all entities and Business Activity Statements;
• Quarterly and annual tax compliance matters.

To be considered:

• 2 years + recent experience in Australian business services and public practice.
• CPA/CA qualification or close to completion.
• Experience mentoring junior staff.
• Experience with a team and portfolio of clients.
• Experience with Xero & APS is desirable but not a necessity.
• Very good interpersonal skills.
• A desire for work-life balance.
• Knowledge/exposure with taxation structures including, Division 7a, CGT, small business concessions and superannuation.
• Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
