Role
This position is 5 days per week, 8:50 am to 3:12 pm. There is no requirement to work during the school holiday periods, however this period is paid with leave accrued.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one and small group support in numeracy, tailored to students with diverse learning needs
Assist teachers in planning and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs)
Facilitate engaging skill-building activities to support students in achieving their learning goals
Collaborate closely with teaching staff, parents, and allied professionals to support student development
Maintain accurate records and contribute to the ongoing evaluation of student progress
Participate in professional learning opportunities to build your capacity, particularly in supporting numeracy development
About You
You will bring:
Relevant qualifications in education, special education, or a related field
Experience working with students with diverse needs, including physical, intellectual, or behavioural challenges
A particular strength or interest in supporting students with numeracy development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Strong organisational and time management skills
A genuine passion for promoting both the academic and personal growth of students

Selection Criteria

Requirements
A valid Working with Children's Check (employee) is required.
A Certificate IV in School Based Education Support or other relevant qualification is preferred or a willingness to undertake the course.
