Process Engineering Lead Opportunity – (Mining Industry)

Are you a seasoned Process Engineer with a passion for mining and mineral processing? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Engineer to join our team, supporting innovative projects within the mining sector, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in hard rock mining operations.

About the Role:

In this role, you will contribute to the successful delivery of engineering studies and project initiatives, ensuring optimal process performance and operational excellence. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, and operational staff to support the development and implementation of process solutions tailored to the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of process engineering studies and projects.
• Act as a technical liaison between project teams and operational staff to ensure process integrity and efficiency.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review and validate process engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical, and control systems teams to optimise plant performance.
• Assist in developing process flow diagrams, mass balances, and cost estimates.
• Support site visits and stakeholder engagement activities as needed.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational support strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in process engineering within the mining or heavy industrial sectors.
- Proven experience supporting engineering studies (Pre-Feasibility, Feasibility).
- Strong understanding of mineral processing, concentrator operations, and plant performance optimisation.
- Prior experience in hard rock mining is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, cross-cultural environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
