Due to an increase in our project scope, we are seeking a Stores Person to support our Workshop team at Garden Well to join our team.

Role details:

· 8/6 Roster – Perth Point of Hire

· Day shift

· Annual salary plus superannuation (on all hours)

· Get paid every week regardless of if you are rostered on or on R & R

· Full pay (12 hours) for stand down periods

· Permanent opportunity & fully paid annual leave & sick pay

Duties & Responsibilities:

Our stores person will be responsible for receiving, storing, inventory management and distribution of parts and equipment to the Workshop personnel.

· Receipt, recording and inspection of inventory received at site

· Management and organisation of inventory in a designated storage area

· Updating stock levels, recording stock locations and assisting with regular stocktakes

· Dispensing and recording items issued from stock

· Movement of stock to workshop personnel utilising forklifts etc

· Following workplace WHS procedures

· Spill Kit refills and register

· First aid kits and register

· Fire extinguisher stock and register

· Torque wrench calibration register (via Viper)

· Assist with internal ordering and collection of site requirements

· General site housekeeping in the workshop/site area

Personal experience:

· Prior experience in stores management

· Excellent attention to detail - accuracy in checking goods received, recording information correctly and tracking of dispensed goods/parts

· Physically capable in the management of parts for extended periods of time

· Effective communication skills with a helpful approach

· Basic computer skills especially in Excel (parts tracking management)

· Forklift license essential

To be considered for this role, successful applicants will possess/provide:

· 3+ years in a similar role in a mining or construction environment

· Safety focused

· Great communicator who enjoys working solo and as part of a happy team

· Teamwork & respectfulness as a top priority

· National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one (less than 12 months old)

· Must hold Australian working rights
