Underground Electrical Supervisor – Goldfields WAFIFO 8:6 | Long-Term Opportunity | Leading Gold Producer

We are currently seeking an experienced Underground Electrical Supervisor to join our gold mining client’s team at a well-established underground operation in the Goldfields region of Western Australia.

This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring all underground electrical activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with statutory and site requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior position with a gold mining client offering long-term stability and strong site culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of underground electricians across day-to-day maintenance, installations, and breakdown support.
• Ensure compliance with statutory electrical inspections and reporting.
• Oversee the safe operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure including VSDs, substations, fans, lighting, dewatering systems, and comms.
• Drive continuous improvement in reliability, safety, and team performance.
• Liaise with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimise downtime.

About You:

• WA Unrestricted Electrical Licence (essential)
• Proven experience in underground mining electrical maintenance
• Strong supervisory or leadership background
• High Voltage Switching ticket (preferred)
• Exposure to PLCs, instrumentation and automation (advantageous)
• Solid understanding of WHS (Mines) Regulations & AS/NZS 3000
• Current C Class Manual WA Driver’s Licence
• Australian working rights (mandatory)
