The Position:
We are looking for an experienced Formwork Carpenter looking to join a dynamic team and contribute to exciting civil infrastructure projects. We are seeking a Formwork Carpenter to join our construction crew and play a vital role in creating the structural framework for essential civil infrastructure projects.

Primary Duties:

Build, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures, ensuring precision and alignment to project specifications.

Read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and plans to execute formwork tasks accurately.

Order materials per project requirements.

Assist in concrete pouring, ensuring that the formwork is properly set and aligned for an impeccable finish.

Inspect formwork structures to ensure they meet the project's quality standards and specifications.

Maintain and care for carpentry tools and equipment to ensure their longevity and effectiveness.

Troubleshoot and solve any formwork-related issues that may arise during the construction process.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter in civil infrastructure projects.

Strong knowledge of formwork construction techniques, materials, and best practices.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and plans.

Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.

Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.

Committed to safety standards and practices on construction sites.

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks.

Certification in carpentry or relevant trade qualifications is a plus.
