About the Role

The Pharmacist Retail Manager is both a clinical leader and a retail operations driver. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional healthcare services while managing a high-performing retail team. This dual role is perfect for a pharmacist who wants to go beyond dispensing and lead a store that prioritises both people and performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

Pharmacy Leadership

Dispense medications accurately and in line with legal and ethical requirements

Provide expert advice and tailored solutions to improve customer health outcomes

Ensure compliance with all Pharmacy Board, QCPP, and PBS regulations

Supervise dispensary staff and promote a safe and effective workflow

Maintain accurate records and uphold the highest standard of pharmaceutical care

Retail Management

Oversee day-to-day operations across both front-of-store and dispensary

Lead, train, and develop a motivated, customer-focused retail team

Manage stock integrity, merchandising, and promotional activities

Ensure exceptional in-store customer experiences through real, classic care

Collaborate on rostering, compliance, and community engagement initiatives

Drive financial results through strategic planning and data-driven decisions

What You’ll Bring

* Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist in Australia
* Proven leadership experience, ideally in a community pharmacy
* Strong understanding of QCPP, PBS and retail pharmacy best practices
* Business acumen and confidence managing store operations
* Excellent communication and people-management skills
* Passion for improving health outcomes and customer experiences
* Retail pharmacy experience in a leadership or management capacity is highly desirable
