About the position
The Customer Relations Centre is the first point of contact for customers at the City of Wanneroo and delivers a wide range of services across a number of contact channels. To support both our employee and customer experience, the City is currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with a passion for organisational capability and service excellence to join our Customer Relations Centre team.
Reporting to the Coordinator Customer Relations Centre, this role is accountable for delivering an extensive training a& development program to support new and existing staff in the Customer Relations Centre, as well as developing and delivering training programs and initiatives for the organisation to support our commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver “How To” and systems based training for new CRC team members
- Implement, develop and improve ongoing training programs for existing staff
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions that promote customer service capability across the organisation
- Design learning content using blended learning methodologies and digital tools
- Conduct training needs analyses and provide on-the-job coaching where needed
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable team player
- Brings a proactive and creative approach to learning and development
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
To be successful, you will have:
- Completion or ongoing study towards a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE)
- Relevant experience in training delivery and/or customer service coaching roles
- Demonstrated knowledge of blended learning techniques
- Strong IT skills and the ability to use technology to support learning
