Physiotherapist - Community Aged Care

Contractor $65-75 per hour

The Role:

You will be required to complete initial assessments and deliver subsequent physiotherapy sessions tailored to the individual needs of the client with the aim to achieve their goals and improve quality of life.

Regular duties in the community may involve - transport to/from a clients house, completing physiotherapy assessments and treatments that may include management of acute and chronic injuries, strength and balance training, mobility and gait practice or pain management based on clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.

This position will also include liaison between case manager (if funded through home care package), next of kin and/or any other medical professionals as indicated as well as appropriate documentation on AHP software.

• Hourly Contractor (ABN) Rate: $65-75 per hour!
• Locations available: Canberra ACT - 2607, 2906, 2611, 2604, 2602, 2614, 2582, 2617, 2605.
• Shifts available between Monday to Friday.
• Work as little as one shift per month, or more if preferred!
• Flexible start date, commence when you can!

Skills & Requirements:

• Qualification as a Physiotherapist + General AHPRA Registration.
• Experience in residential aged care/community.
• Two successful clinical references.
• NDIS Workers Screening Check (Can apply after interviewing).
• National Police Check within the last two years.
• x2 COVID-19 Vaccinations + 1 booster =3, and 2025 flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain).
• Full working rights in Australia - No employer sponsorships required.
