Established over a decade ago in Sydney, our client is a respected builder and developer known for high-quality luxury houses, townhouses, apartments, and medium to high-rises. They have a strong track record in Sydney's Northern Suburbs. With a long project pipeline, they are now expecting a Site Foreman/ Supervisor to join their dynamic and welcoming team.

About the role:

This new role has been created due to business expansion. As the Site Foreman/Supervisor, you will be highly motivated and experienced in overseeing the daily operations of construction sites. You will play a key role in delivering our award-winning projects. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and productivity. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Main Responsibilities

General Duties

Ensure daily coordination of site activities to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Produce and manage 2-3 weeks construction program for assigned projects

Interpret plans and drawings to ensure all site works are carried out accurately and in accordance with project specifications

Maintain accurate and up-to-date Site Diary records in the project management system

Inspection of sub-contractors’ work, materials etc to ensure compliance with Tender and Construction documents

Check supplier and sub-contractor progress claims, sub-contractor variations

Conduct site inspections and monitor work in accordance with the company’s systems and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)

Oversees OH&S compliance and all relevant safety standards to ensure safe work environment

Manage the OHS compliance across all sites and handle all Industrial Relations issues

Identify and resolve construction project issues on site

Assist in preparation of quantity reviews for head office tender work

Assist in all company project if required

Daily/Weekly Duties

Update site photos daily in the Procore system

Plan and request material orders via the line manager or office CA

Conduct daily site OH&S checks

Approve invoices in the Procore system

Project program management performance

Project cost control performance

Project quality control performance

Project OH&S site management performance

Project industrial relations and compliance performanc

Requirements

Bilingual in English and Mandarin highly regarded

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Supervisor on high-end residential new build projects

Previous experience as a tradesperson, leading hand, or skilled worker in residential construction

Familiar with Procore construction management systems

Familiarity with the NCC, particularly Class 1 buildings

Strong understanding of construction methodology and procedures

Ability to liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery

High attention to detail and strong quality control focus

Demonstrated understanding of safety, health, and environmental best practices
