About the role

Eco Sparks Solar and Electrical Contractors is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Solar Sales Consultant to join our team in Darwin, NT. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our innovative solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers in the local area. What you'll be doing

Proactively reaching out to potential customers to generate new sales leads

Conducting in-person and virtual consultations to understand customer needs and recommend the best solar energy solutions

Preparing detailed proposals and quotes for customers

Closing sales and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new customers

Maintaining a strong pipeline of sales opportunities and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets

Providing excellent customer service and building long-term relationships with clients and after sales support

Staying up-to-date with the latest solar technologies, industry trends and competitive offerings

What we're looking for

Proven track record of success in a sales or consultative role, preferably within the renewable energy or home improvement industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different customer types

Strong commercial acumen and a keen understanding of the solar energy market and customer needs

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals

Passion for sustainability and a desire to contribute to the transition to renewable energy

Relevant qualifications or certifications in sales, renewable energy or a related field
