This is a unique opportunity to combine your Leadership, Administrative and Teaching skills in one amazing role. As the new Program Lead - Plumbing, you will play a key role in supporting both teacher and student success within your portfolio. You will provide academic and operational leadership, drive course content enhancements, and manage the scheduling of program timetables.
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Lead your teaching teams to ensure monitoring of student progress and implement strategies to support student needs, and contribute to student retention strategies.
- Manage the design, development, delivery and evaluation of contemporary VET teaching packages, practices, learning resources and assessment strategies ensuring the standards of industry, learners and The Gordon are met.
- Manage the development, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement of learning, teaching and assessment procedures and processes across the program area.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the program area through innovation, enhancements and supporting teacher and student experience & learning
- Deliver a teaching component within your Program to ensure you maintain industry currency and competency and enhance your connection to students and the program.

About You:
Are you ready to combine your Plumbing knowledge, coupled with leadership, teaching & administration skills? Do you have a passion for process improvement, student experience & leading high performing teams? If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

- Leadership skills, including an ability to create and maintain positive, inclusive and collaborative workplace culture, and enabling high performing teams.
- Leading people to achieve excellence in learning, teaching and student outcomes aligned to organisational objectives & student expectations.
- Proven knowledge, application and management of contemporary teaching methodologies and standards appropriate to the program portfolio
- Experience developing and managing processes and systems to facilitate efficiencies.
- A teacher qualification at AQF Level 6 or above that meets the requirements of the Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2018
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment that meets the current training package requirements
- A degree, diploma or other approved qualification in the relevant vocational area and demonstrated competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed
