MPDT is a fast-growing vegetation management company, specialising in Arboriculture and power line vegetation management.

MPDT currently have several positions for experienced Utility Arborist and Powerline Vegetation workers, to assist on the Essential Energy contract.

These positions are FIFO from any major city, flying into Wagga Wagga on a 14/6 work rotation.

The Role

You will be an essential part of our tree trimming crews, safely operating specialised equipment to trim, remove and maintain trees and vegetation on and around powerlines.

You will join a dedicated team responsible for developing and carrying out vegetation management strategies, tree risk assessments and removal and pruning in line with contract clearance and regulations.

Daily Duties may Include, but are not limited to:

Pruning of vegetation in proximity to powerlines

Operation of chainsaws and associated tools

Tree felling and removal

Operation of EWP towers

Tree climbing

Operation of woodchipper

Qualifications Required:

Current National ESI Cert II in Powerline Vegetation

Cert III in Arboriculture

High Risk EWP License

MR Truck License

OH&S White Card

Applicants must possess the current qualifications mentioned above to work on Electrical Distribution or Transmission Networks and must have prior industry experience.

Starting wages are above industry award with travel, skills and living away allowances paid.
