About the role

Benzini Precast Concrete is seeking an experienced Precast concrete labourer to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. This is a full-time position responsible for the completion of various tasks to ensure the successful completion of bespoke Precast concrete projects.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate with the leading hand in regard to concrete patching, honing, steel fixing & welding to ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards

Experience with high end concrete finishes is highly desirable but not essential to the role

Steel fixing and welding experience is highly desirable but not essential in the role

Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the steel fixing work

Patching and honing experience is highly desirable but not essential to the role

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions

Assisting with installation of steel into moulds as required

Other various duties as required to assist the current working team

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years experience as a concrete labourer

Sound knowledge of Australian construction standards, regulations and best practices related to steel fixing

Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges on site

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Forklift license and construction industry white card are highly desirable
