Mayo's are electrical and building contractors. We specialise in projects and maintenance services around Brisbane and are looking to grow our team. Our business runs different to most electrical and building contractors, where the majority of our different trades are employed in house. Our office is based in Murarrie next to the Gateway Bridge for good access north and south.

The Role

Your day to day duties will involve assisting the building team for disconnection, rough-in and fit-off of renovations, extensions, bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, decks, office/shop re-fits and various other scopes. The remainder of your time would be attending to small electrical maintenance scopes. This role includes a company vehicle with tolls and fuel included. Pay rate of $40 - $50 per/hour for the suitable applicant. Rate is based on experience and qualifications. The role includes 4 weeks annual, personal leave and a quarterly bonus incentive. The ideal candidate will have:

A good understanding of residential electrical maintenance, renovations and construction

Presents well to customers

Able to operate by yourself to complete various jobs

Can problem solve on the go and think for yourself

Complete all jobs to a high standard

Ability to work from job software (Servicem8) and notify the office when scopes are complete listing your hours and materials

Ability to do overtime if required

Must be able to work in a team environment as well as individually

Applicants must hold:

Current QLD Electrical Workers License

Current QLD driver’s license

Current LVR, CPR Certificate

Current blue/white construction card

Own hand tools

Applicants who have experience in the following will be highly regarded:

A basic understanding of air conditioning installations

A sound understanding in data and TV aerial installations
