About the role

We are seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Technician to join our team at SA Pool Shop & Chemical Supplies in Seaford Meadows. Our locally owned and operated family business is rapidly growing and needs someone who can bring some energy and excitement to our team. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to join a dynamic company that is not afraid to think different.

What you'll be doing

Perform regular maintenance and servicing of residential and commercial swimming pools

Diagnose and resolve technical issues with pool equipment and systems

Advise customers on the best products and treatments for their pool

Maintain accurate records of all work completed and invoice accordingly

Generate quotes and leads both from site and from within the retail environment

Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

Provide exceptional customer service to our clients

What we're looking for

Practical experience as a Swimming Pool Technician or commercial pool operator an advantage, however we are willing to develop the right candidate if the fit is right.

Strong technical skills and ability to diagnose and resolve issues

Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills a must

Have a go-get-it attitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A valid driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle

Relatable/transferable skills if no formal prior experience in this industry
