Coast Smoke Alarms is growing fast, and we’re looking for a reliable, detail-driven Smoke Alarm Technician to join our friendly, high-performing team. You’ll carry out smoke alarm maintenance and servicing across the Sunshine Coast, from Gympie to North Brisbane.

The Role
This isn’t heavy labour, but it’s fast-paced and requires a calm, focused approach. Each day is different – from servicing alarms and troubleshooting faults to handling last-minute schedule changes with professionalism.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Style: Independent fieldwork with strong admin team support

Calm Under Pressure – Days can be hectic. You’ll need to stay composed, adjust calmly, and keep a solutions-focused mindset.
Resilience & Flexibility – Plans change. You’ll roll with it but you can rely on our admin team to support you.
Problem-Solving Skills – Diagnosing faults on the spot is part of the job.
Physical Readiness – You’ll climb ladders, carry gear, and drive to multiple sites daily.
Strong Communicator – Clear updates to teammates and respectful interactions with clients are essential.
Team-Oriented – You’re independent on the road, but part of a supportive crew that has each other’s backs.
Professionalism – You’ll interact with tenants, owners, and property managers – we expect you to represent us well.
