About the role

The Education and Compliance Officer will engage with producers and agriculture supply chain stakeholders to enable a harmonised national approach to primary produce traceability systems in Tasmania.

• Assist in education and compliance activities to support the implementation of mandatory traceability systems.
• Communicate compliance obligations to primary producers and supply chain stakeholders.
• Be the main point of contact for training and support.
• Analyse data and collect evidence to assist with non-compliance investigations.
• Based in Hobart, Launceston or Devonport.

Our ideal candidate has

• Training or program facilitation experience.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to consult, negotiate and manage conflict.
• Qualifications in government investigations or statutory compliance.
• Motivation to support the Tasmanian agricultural sector.
• Ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
