About the role
The Education and Compliance Officer will engage with producers and agriculture supply chain stakeholders to enable a harmonised national approach to primary produce traceability systems in Tasmania.
- Assist in education and compliance activities to support the implementation of mandatory traceability systems.
- Communicate compliance obligations to primary producers and supply chain stakeholders.
- Be the main point of contact for training and support.
- Analyse data and collect evidence to assist with non-compliance investigations.
- Based in Hobart, Launceston or Devonport.
Our ideal candidate has
- Training or program facilitation experience.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to consult, negotiate and manage conflict.
- Qualifications in government investigations or statutory compliance.
- Motivation to support the Tasmanian agricultural sector.
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
