Job Title: Speech Pathologist
Location: Brisbane QLD 4000
Workplace Option: Hybrid
Work Type: 3 days to full-time
Annual Salary Pay Range: $85,000 to $110,000 incl. super
Flexible Work, NDIS Training, Leadership Mentorship
Are you a purpose-driven Speechie ready to grow, lead and do work that truly matters?
At The Centered Space, we support families across Brisbane and surrounding suburbs—from inner-city apartments to leafy outer communities. This role is based in Brisbane QLD 4000 with flexibility to shape your caseload based on where you live. Whether you’re a confident new grad or a seasoned Speechie, if you’re ready to work in a purpose-driven team where creativity, collaboration and autonomy thrive—we’d love to meet you.
What We Do Differently
Let’s be honest. A lot of places say they’re supportive. We actually are. Here’s how:
Full-time admin support so you can focus on your clients
Full-time IT support so your systems run smoothly
Our in-house NDIS specialist trains you to master the system and advocate at the highest level
Weekly one-on-one coaching with the CEO to support your personal and professional growth
Fortnightly clinical supervision tailored to your experience level
Weekly, fortnightly and monthly NDIS-specific PD and strategy sessions
A team culture that genuinely feels like family
Creative freedom to co-design programs that blend your passions and your degree
Work flexibly from home, in local communities across Brisbane, or join co-working sessions with your team in central locations.
This is a two-way street. You show up, and we’ll back you fully.
What the Role Involves
Conducting assessments, setting and reviewing goals
Providing therapy for communication and swallowing needs across the lifespan
Supporting clients in clinic, at home, in schools, the community or via telehealth
Completing clinical documentation to company standards and with reference to the client journey
Collaborating with families, educators and transdisciplinary teammates
Option to co-lead innovative group programs like our LEGO group, school readiness mock class, or dance x communication intensives
Sharing videos of your day or your wins for our socials (don’t worry, we’ll help)
Who This Role Is For (and who it’s not)
This is for someone who is self-led, coachable, and excited to do meaningful work.
If you need to be micromanaged, struggle with feedback or don’t have a growth mindset, this won’t be the right fit.
If you're a big-hearted clinician who takes ownership, cares deeply and brings creativity to your work; we’ll meet you where you are and support you to thrive and lead.
We Offer
Salary between $85,000 and $110,000 including super, based on experience
Choose your schedule across 3 to 5 days per week
Flexibility to work from home, in the community or by the ocean
Clear career progression and leadership opportunities
Weekly CEO coaching and tailored supervision
Full training in NDIS and advocacy
A transdisciplinary team that values collaboration and joy
A workplace that prioritises your well-being, not just your billables
You’ll Need
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
SPA membership (or eligibility to join)
Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
A driver’s licence and access to a car
The right to work in Australia
A commitment to our values and code of conduct
