property and specialty risk matters.

💼 About the Role
You’ll step into a hands-on litigation role with a diverse and growing caseload. Working directly with partners and senior leadership, your day-to-day will include:

• Managing motor vehicle, marine transport, and property damage recoveries
• Litigating subrogated claims in courts and tribunals across Australia
• Advising on indemnity, policy wording, and liability under various policies
• Collaborating with insurer clients, underwriting agencies, and brokers
• Leading files end-to-end, with strong paralegal and administrative support
• Mentoring junior lawyers (for Senior Associate level).

🧩 What We’re Looking For
✔️ Associate or Senior Associate-level lawyer with 2–7+ years PAE
✔️ Solid background in insurance litigation – especially recoveries
✔️ Experience with motor claims, marine cargo, or property damage highly regarded
✔️ Confident litigator with strong drafting and negotiation skills
✔️ Client-focused, team-minded, and commercially astute
