About the Role

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a dynamic Academic Proctor to support the effective delivery of Pearson VUE testing services. This is a great opportunity to contribute to operational excellence, uphold academic integrity, and provide outstanding customer service in a high-volume testing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Invigilate computer-based English proficiency tests
• Ensure compliance with Pearson VUE and Melbourne Polytechnic procedures
• Provide high-level customer service and resolve complaints
• Monitor candidates via CCTV and respond to incidents
• Perform administrative tasks including onboarding, scheduling, and reporting
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure testing environment

Skills and Experience Required

• Post-secondary qualifications and/or extensive experience in administration and customer service
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High-level computer literacy across multiple software platforms
• Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and continuous improvement

Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

• A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  
• A National Police Check
