About the Company

We are a Canberra-based electronic security and communications company, delivering professional solutions across CCTV, alarms, and structured cabling systems. We are looking for a skilled and motivated technician to join our growing team on a long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and service electronic security systems, including:

CCTV surveillance systems

Alarm systems

Access control systems (preferred but not mandatory)

Conduct fault-finding, repairs, and system testing.

Install and certify structured cabling (Cat 5e, Cat 6/6A), intercoms, and related equipment.

Read and interpret wiring diagrams, building plans, and technical documents.

Deliver system demonstrations and support to clients.

Maintain accurate records and comply with Work Health & Safety regulations.

Skills & Attributes

Minimum 2 years' experience in the security or electronics industry.

Hands-on experience with brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Paradox, or Inner Range.

Strong understanding of electronic systems and diagnostics.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

Open Cabler Registration with structured cabling endorsement (mandatory)

White Card (mandatory)

Security Installer Licence (ACT) or willingness to obtain

Driver’s Licence (manual or automatic)

Must be eligible to work in Australia:

Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents

Or candidates eligible for 482 visa sponsorship
