A & A Di Medio & Son ( Aust ) P/L is an established market leading Concrete Agitator Manufacturing Company in Braeside, Victoria. We manufacture, service and maintain concrete agitators for large Australian Companies and for local service providers.

We currently require a Qualified Fitter to help build truck bodies and a Labourer with a forklift license.

These are important, permanent roles within a great team environment with stable long term employment opportunities within a successful company. The candidate must have a "Can do Attitude" willing to take initiative and working on their own. Should be available to work Monday to Friday 7am - 3.30pm. Overtime will be provided including possible weekend shifts if required.

Both applicants must have the following:

1. General knowledge of safety standards and procedures,

2. Attention to detail,

3. The ability to work well with others,

4. Physical strength and stamina.

5. Own transport and drivers license

What the fitter job description entails:

1. Using and maintaining specialised machines and tools such as impact guns, grinders, drill bits and all sockets and spanners,

2. Assembling and installing components on a truck bodies,

3. Fitting hydraulics and mudguards on agitators,

4. Carrying out planned service and maintenance checks on the agitator,

5. May have to performing MIG, TIG and other types of welding methods depending on the job.

What the labourer job description entails:

1. Assist welders, painters, fitters or other tradespeople on-site

2. Operate forklift to unload and load deliveries and stacking boxes and other items. You are also responsible for ensuring items are transported and stored safely without damaging products.

3. Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks
