The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Crushing Maintainer/Operator to join our team in Innisfail. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who’s familiar with the demands of remote site work and mobile crushing operations. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you’ll operate and maintain crushing machinery, loaders, and excavators as part of a small, capable crew.

The role runs on a 10/4 roster residential . This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who’s reliable, safety-conscious, and works well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Operate mobile crushing equipment, loaders, and excavators

Carry out daily pre-starts, routine maintenance, and repairs (e.g. screen changes, wear parts, cone changes)

Keep work areas clean and safe, including loading zones and conveyor areas

Perform general labouring when needed — clearing blockages, shovelling, and basic site maintenance

Communicate clearly with other operators and supervisors to meet production targets

Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe and productive site environment

What We’re Looking For

Current open Australian driver’s licence (required)

Minimum 2 years’ experience operating loaders and/or excavators in recycling, quarrying, or civil work

Relevant VOCs or tickets for loader/excavator operations

Practical experience around crushing equipment

Good understanding of safety on remote work sites

Physically fit and prepared to work in tough conditions

A dependable team player with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
