About the role

As a Field Service Technician at Victorian Door Automation, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and maintenance for our client's automatic pedestrian doors. Work is based in Melbourne Metropolitan region and SE Suburbs however some travel outside this area may be required at times.

What you'll be doing

Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections of automatic pedestrian doors at client sites

Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of door automation systems

Provide timely and effective emergency callout services as required

Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met and identify any additional service requirements

Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations

Support the wider team with installations, project work and other duties as needed

What we're looking for

Relevant technical qualification in electrical, mechanical or building services engineering

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a field service technician, in the door automation industry

Strong practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

A valid driver's licence

Commitment to continuous learning and development
