About the role

Whelan Kartaway, a leading waste management and recycling provider, is seeking an experienced Account Manager / Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the East Brunswick. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing and growing key client relationships, while also generating new business opportunities within the construction industry to drive the continued success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

Proactively manage and develop strong relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional customer service and maximise retention

Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, cold-calling, and networking to expand our client base

Prepare and present tailored proposals and solutions to meet the unique needs of potential clients

Negotiate and finalise contracts to secure new business

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate the onboarding and implementation of new client accounts

Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and sales activities into our CRM system, Salesforce

Contribute to the development and execution of the overall sales strategy

What we're looking for

Experience in a sales or account management role

Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with the ability to identify and address client needs

Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

Proficient in using CRM systems and MS Office applications

You can manage your own pipeline and territory

You are great at time management

A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the local region
