POSITION SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES
Coach and mentor PBS Practitioners from beginners through to Proficient practitioners i.e. plan development, report writing.
Ensure all PBS practices and interventions are compliant with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards, NDIS Restrictive Practices and Behaviour Support Rules 2018, Service Agreements and Allied X's Code of Conduct.
Maintaining excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Demonstrating a commitment to Continuing Professional Development, Evidenced Based Practice, and measuring clinical outcomes.
Assisting in implementing organisational systems and processes to support continuous improvement in the business performance of the Behaviour Support service.
Managing key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), government agencies, and non-government organisations.
Engaging in direct clinical work, demonstrating best practices and setting a high standard for the team, in particular with more complex clients.
Design and implement robust systems and protocols to support the growth and scalability of the Behaviour Support team.
Actively contributing to the planning and execution of growth strategies, ensuring the team's capabilities evolve in line with organisational expansion.
Conduct regular performance reviews and clinical audits to be able to contribute to the growth of the team while maintaining clinical standards.
PRE-REQUISITES
Advanced/Specialist Practitioner accreditation according to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (Behaviour Support Capability Framework).
Demonstrated experience in supervising behaviour support practitioners to achieve appropriate outcomes, prioritising workloads and managing clients with complex needs.
Valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
