Production Worker / Factory Hand - Glass Industry

The Company

Our client is a large manufacturer and supplier of customised glass products, insulated glass units, laminated glass products, fire resistant and toughened safety glass to name a few.

The role will involve, but is not limited to:

• Manual handling training to lift, carry & load glass safely
• Repetitive heavy lifting
• Working in accordance with Company OH&S policies
• Processing products in a timely manner
• Working professionally in a team environment
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area at all times

About you:

• Be able to work in a physically demanding environment
• Have a good tenure of working history
• Glass production experience is beneficial but not essential
• Understanding of correct manual handling practices
• Own your own safety shoes and yellow hi-vis vest
• Good communication skills - both verbal and written

Hours and Rates:

Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6.30am - 2.30pm, $35.51 per hour
Afternoon shift: Monday to Friday, 2.30pm - 10.30pm, $42.52 per hour
Night shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10.30pm - 6.30am, $45.46 per hour

A medical will be required for these ongoing positions.
