Our residential aged care and retirement village is designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents, and we are looking for a passionate and skilled Maintenance and Grounds Person to join our team.

The Maintenance and Grounds Person will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the facilities and grounds within our residential aged care and retirement village. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, as needed.

- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.

- Maintain the landscaping, gardens, and outdoor areas, including mowing, trimming, planting, and weeding.

- Ensure all outdoor pathways, driveways, and common areas are clean, safe, and accessible.

- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and activities within the village.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.

- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues.

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a high standard of care and service for residents.
