Microbiology Laboratory Technician –

About the company:
The company is a well-known dairy company based in the South eastern suburbs of Melbourne. They are seeking a laboratory technician to join the team on a ongoing contract
The shifts are Tuesday to Saturday from 7:00am - 3:00pm

About the role:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, your main responsibilities may include:

• Basic wet chemistry analysis (titrations, pH)
• Microbiological analysis of food products
• Data entry and result compilation
• Laboratory housekeeping

About you:

• Bachelor of Science, majoring in Food Science or related discipline
• MUST have experience within the food industry
• Knowledge of chemical and microbiological analysis tests performed on food (highly regarded)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Methodical, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
