About the role:

• Global pharmaceutical company is seeking Microbiologist
• Ongoing contract with a strong potential to extend
• ASAP start in SE suburbs
• Working 2-3 days a week and between 8am-6pm (standard 8 hour shifts)

About your duties:

• Routine QC analysis and aseptic microbiological testing
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Preparation of media
• Report writing & updating database
• Completing documentation
• General housekeeping

To be successful in this position you will:

• Have a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Microbiology or a related discipline
• Be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and have the ability to work in fast-paced team
• Have previous experience in a highly regulated environment as a Microbiologist is highly desirable
