About The Firm:

Based in the CBD, this AFR Top 100 Accounting Firm has a holistic approach to client service, with a wide offering and highly skilled team to service clients. They work with a whole suite of clients, from High Net Worth Family Groups with impressive portfolios to Large Corporates and ASX Listed Clients!

The Role:

• Preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns and Tax Advice for clients.
• Assisting in the review of Junior Accountants, managing workflow and reviewing work.
• Drafting emails to clients and answering technical queries over the phone.
• Attending tax planning meetings, working closely with Partners on a range of complex tax matters.
• Involvement in several projects for clients, providing advice and feedback for matters that might fall outside of traditional Tax scope.
• Building relationships with clients and becoming key point of contact as you grow within the firm.

About You:

• 4+ years' experience working in an Australian Public Accounting Firm, working within a similar AFR Top 100 Accounting Firm is highly advantageous.
• CA or CPA Qualified or near completion.
• Experience in reviewing work and managing workflow.
• Exposure to large entity groups in excess of $5m turnover.
• Good understanding of common tax issues such as Capital Gains Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax and Division 7a loans.
• Highly personable, enthusiastic and adaptable, you have the ability to wear many hats and get involved in a fantastic team culture!
• Brilliant written and verbal communication skills.
