Your role:

As a Cyber Operator, you'll be supporting the Navy's cyberspace and maritime missions and classified government programs to protect Australia's networks both at sea and ashore.

Whether you have recently finished school, currently studying, already in the workforce or you have no experience at all, you'll be paid from day one. You'll gain all the skills needed with extensive on-the-job training.

Your duties include, but aren’t limited to:

detecting and responding to cyberspace incidents

network forensics

conducting network vulnerability assessments

identifying cyberspace threats

protecting, recovering and hardening networks

collecting and analysing data

preparing and presenting cyber advice and briefs

Salary:
Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, you’ll enjoy a salary package starting from $87,929.

For this role, you must be over 17 at time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen and have passed Year 10 English, Maths and Science.
