We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual for up to 38 hours per week at Walkerville Dental as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist.

You will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to a loyal patient base. The position will have some overlap between dental assisting duties and routine reception and administrative tasks.

Walkerville Dental is a 3-chair private general practice that has been serving the community since 1972. Our inner suburban practice is close to amenities and easy parking. Possess excellent communication skills, be fluent in English, and work well within a team environment.

Be organised, have a strong work ethic, show initiative, flexibility and empathy.

Be able to prioritise work tasks and exhibit attention to detail.

Have a gentle and caring nature.

Have a current Police Clearance and Working with Children’s Check.

Be proficient with Microsoft Office 365.

Be familiar with or prepared to learn Oasis Dental Software.

All levels of experience will be considered, with preference given to Certificate III (or higher) qualification in Dental Assisting or at least 1 year's experience in dental assisting.

Flexibility with regards to hours and days will be considered.

Remuneration will be based on qualifications, competence and experience of the successful candidate and will be reviewed periodically.
