Experienced Dental Assistant – Casual Position

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our busy, family-owned and operated Orthodontic Practice. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality orthodontic care, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a skilled, professional staff.

Position Details:

Casual: up to 5 days per week

Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Primary location: Oaklands Park (+ adhoc work in Eastern Suburbs)

Key Responsibilities:

Chairside assisting

Taking clinical photographs and 3D intra-oral scans

Preparing and cleaning rooms, sterilising instruments, checking and ordering supplies

Occasional reception and administrative duties as part of our team approach

Ensuring compliance with infection control and sterilisation protocols

Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of patient records

Skills & Requirements:

Minimum Certificate III in Dental Assisting

Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is desirable

Orthodontic experience (desirable but not essential)

Reception experience (desirable but not essential)

Excellent communication and Apple Mac computer skills

Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team

Friendly personality with a positive attitude

Punctual, reliable, and well-presented
