Gough Recruitment is searching for an exceptional leader to spearhead our Melbourne Business . With over 35 years of experience across Real Estate, Property, Development, and Construction recruitment, we’re a specialist, mid-sized agency with a strong brand, an unrivalled reputation in niche markets, and a commitment to delivering premium results.
We operate across six offices: Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Singapore and Hong Kong, employing 75+ staff and generating over $30M in annual revenue. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced recruitment leader to build, lead, and grow our Melbourne business with full autonomy and national support.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Melbourne office, overseeing all recruitment activity and strategic growth.
- Manage and mentor a team of recruiters, fostering a tight-knit, high-performance culture.
- Hands-on recruitment across an initially Construction, Architecture and Design & Energy
- Grow the business further from 2026 into Real Estate – Property & Property Development
- Full P&L ownership, driving profitability and business success.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships with a strong focus on business development.
- Collaborate with our CEO and GM to align national objectives and receive expert mentoring and support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven recruitment experience, ideally within Construction, Architecture & Design - Real Estate, Property, or a related professional sector.
- A natural leader with previous experience managing and growing a recruitment team.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to take full ownership of a P&L.
- Someone who is ambitious, competitive, resilient, and motivated by success.
- A connector – you understand how to build trust with clients, influence outcomes, and deliver results.
