About the role

As a Gardener at Cruden Farm, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beautiful gardens and grounds of this historic property. This full-time role is based in Langwarrin, Victoria and offers the opportunity to work in a picturesque setting while utilising your specialist horticulture knowledge and gardening skills.

What you'll be doing

Carrying out general gardening tasks such as mowing, pruning, weeding, and planting

Performing lawn care, including edging, fertilising, and aerating

Maintaining and repairing garden beds, pathways, and other landscaping features

Identifying and treating plant diseases and pests

Assisting with the installation of new garden features and landscaping projects

Ensuring the grounds are kept clean, tidy, and visually appealing at all times

Adhering to all health and safety protocols and risk management practices

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Gardener or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years' experience

Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, and gardening practices

Ability to operate and maintain a range of gardening equipment and tools

Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics

Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks

A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Excellent communication skills using all modes of communication

Relevant qualifications in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field would be highly regarded
