- Remuneration: $94,099 to $106,134 pa (HEW5) (inclusive of $79,514 to $89,685 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Business Services Officer to join Wellbeing Strategy, People Services, Administrative Division.
The Business Services Officer delivers a range of high quality professional services and plays a key role in supporting People Services with efficient information, operational and administrative services.
We’re offering this role as a hybrid position as part of QUT’s commitment to embracing the opportunities created by a more virtual and connected world.

The People Services Portfolio provides a range of high quality services designed to enrich the staff and student experience at QUT. What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree, or completion of an associate diploma with at least two years’ subsequent relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to identify, interpret, apply and analyse policies and procedures to advise clients accurately and to develop workable solutions to address client needs.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative, judgement and analytical skills to solve problems and manage competing priorities to deliver outcomes within agreed timelines.
- Highly effective written, verbal and digital communication skills with proven ability to prepare data summaries, reports and briefing notes, making use of visualisation techniques.
- Ability to work autonomously in an agile work environment and as part of a collaborative team focussed on delivering a high standard of client service.
- Proven ability to manage time and high- volume tasks efficiently, as well as respond positively to unexpected challenges at short notice.
- Ability to handle and monitor sensitive information within a confidential environment.
