OSHC Worker – Zuccoli Primary School (NT)

Location: Zuccoli, Northern Territory

Position Type: Full time

Salary: $25 AUD - $35 AUD

Zuccoli Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Worker to join our supportive team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children and committed to providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for primary-aged students outside regular school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide supervision and care for children in before and after school hours care, and vacation care programs.

· Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate recreational and educational activities.

· Assist with the preparation and provision of snacks and meals.

· Foster a safe and inclusive environment that supports the emotional, social and physical wellbeing of all children.

· Assist children with individual needs, including those with intellectual, physical or behavioural challenges.

· Ensure children are always safe and supervised, following all safety and wellbeing protocols.

· Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents and child development observations.

· Communicate professionally with parents/guardians about children’s participation and wellbeing.

· Work collaboratively with the OSHC Coordinator and school staff to support the daily operations of the program.

· Passion for working with children in a structured care environment.

· Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities and programs.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Reliable, professional, and able to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, School Age Education and Care, or similar qualification (or working toward).

· Current Working With Children Clearance (Ochre Card) – NT requirement.

· Previous experience in OSHC, childcare, or a similar role is highly regarded.
