Are you a seasoned Civil Senior Estimator who thrives on accuracy, autonomy, and seeing your numbers come to life onsite? We’re seeking a sharp and experienced Senior Estimator to join a well-established and reputable civil contractor delivering bulk earthworks and mixed civil works projects valued up to $10M across WA. This is a genuinely autonomous role with no micromanagement, and no red tape. You’ll have full control over your estimates from start to finish, working closely with the directors to shape commercially successful tenders and make a real impact on project outcomes.

About the Role:

• Prepare "first principles" estimates from scratch using Excel, build-ups, cost models, and rate calculations.
• Analyse and review tender documents, scopes, and specifications to identify value opportunities and risk
• Optimise pricing strategies and cost inputs to ensure competitive and profitable bids
• Build dynamic formulas and costing templates to streamline tender preparation
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams to inform accurate pricing
• Be the go-to Estimator for projects up to $10M, across bulk earthworks, drainage, and civil scopes of work (both mining and metro projects)

What You’ll Need:

• 10+ years’ experience estimating for civil contractors in Australia
• Proven track record pricing bulk earthworks and multi-discipline civil projects, including remote minesite civils
• Strong skills in Excel-based estimating and "first principles" costing
• Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of your estimates
• A passion for building accurate, clean, and optimised costings
