Our client is a successful, locally owned business providing goods and services into the construction sector. With offices in Myaree, our client has a small and busy office team in need of a capable and organised ‘all-rounder’ to manage a wide range of important functions in the friendly and fast-moving office.

This is a permanent role that can be offered as a full-time or part-time (30 hours per week) position. The successful candidate will work from the client’s offices in Myaree and parking is provided. A generous salary up to about $35 per hour plus super is on offer and this is a great opportunity to use all your skills with lots of variety and learn new tasks as well.

The major responsibilities of the role will include:

· Reception – great customer service, monitor correspondence and emails, look after office visitors and organise meetings, forward calls and take messages

· A wide range of administrative tasks including data entry, management of information for clients and suppliers, assistance with contracts and client details, agendas, appointment setting and report preparation

· Organise internal and external functions on behalf of management

· Assist the accounts department with invoices, purchase orders, receipts etc

· Assist with reconciling petty cash and fuel cards and supporting the accounts team in any other required tasks

· Liaise with clients, installers and suppliers about a wide range of topics on a regular basis

What you can bring to the role:

· Experience in a similar role and in a related sector would be highly regarded

· Demonstrated excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to think pro-actively and solve problems as they arise

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and colleagues while providing great customer service

· Strong admin skills and experience with the MS Office suite and Office 365 would be highly valued

· Have permanent, full working rights in Australia and currently live in Perth

· A positive attitude and be a great team player who is seeking a long-term, satisfying admin role with great colleagues

· Any qualification in bookkeeping or previous accounts experience would also be highly valued
