About the role

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Part Time Educator to join our dynamic team at Gumnuts Early Learning Centre in Sale, VIC. As part of our vibrant childcare community, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early education and care to the children in our centre.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and implement engaging, educational programs that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of the children
• Observe and document children's progress, and use this information to inform your teaching practices
• Build strong relationships with families, and work collaboratively with parents and guardians
• Ensure all centre policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are followed
• Actively participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

• A relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Experience working in a childcare or early learning environment, preferably in a similar role
• A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families
• A flexible, adaptable, and collaborative approach to your work
• A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
