Full function accounts receivable, three days per week, ideally Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Blacktown area.

Our client
Well-established and growing Australian organisation located in the Blacktown area involved in the manufacture of a product for commercial and residential use.

The role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage the credit function.

The responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:

  • daily bank reconciliations, receipting and allocating payments.
  • monitoring customer accounts and putting accounts on hold and off hold, where necessary.
  • building relationships with customers and conducting collections calls and follow up emails and negotiating payment plans.
  • managing credit enquiries via phone and the credit email inbox.
  • undertaking internal investigations, working with production, logistics, customer service and the finance team to resolve issues, follow up supporting documentation and issuing credit notes.
  • reconciling customer accounts.
  • producing ad hoc invoices at month end.

The candidate
In order to be successful in your application, you will:

  • be an experienced Credit Officer, who has conducted investigations to resolve issues in an environment with a tangible product and/or manufacturing environment.
  • enjoy building relationships with customers.
  • have excellent communication skills.
  • be comfortable with working 100% in the office.
