They're seeking a Senior Store Manager to lead their North-West Sydney location, driving sales growth and maintaining smooth, efficient operations.

About the Role
As Senior Store Manager, you'll oversee all daily operations of a large Big Box store, managing a diverse team in different departments. You will be hands-on in leading and motivating your team, delivering excellent customer experiences, and ensuring operational standards are consistently met in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large team across diverse roles and departments, fostering a positive and productive work culture
• Drive sales performance while maintaining operational excellence and high service standards
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development in partnership with People & Culture
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and promotional activities to maximise profitability
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency
• Prepare and review performance reports to track business results
• Collaborate with external sales teams to capture local market opportunities
• Control budgets, lead stocktakes, and monitor competitor pricing strategies

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a Senior Big Box retail or Trade management role is essential
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a large, diverse team to achieve sales and operational targets
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent customer service focus
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Calm under pressure, proactive, and results-driven
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with inventory and business systems preferred
