Who We’re Looking For:

Qualified Support Workers: Holding their Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or Disability Services.

Experience: Hands-on experience assisting clients with personal care, meals and general daily activities and routine.

Essential Skills:

An outstanding communicator who can quickly build rapport.

Motivated and reliable with a strong work ethic and the ability to contribute and think outside the box.

Eager to learn and grow your skills as a professional disability support worker.

Able to stay calm and focussed and manage all situations with empathy and clear boundaries.

Strong understanding of mental health issues.

Confidence, maturity, and mental resilience.

Attention to detail and patience.

Ability to work 24/7 shifts, including overnight and sleepovers.

What You’ll Do:

Provide personalised, high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of each participant you support. This may include a range of tasks such as supported daily living, household management, and personal care. This may also involve delivering more complex personal or behavioural support to ensure participants feel empowered and valued.

Engage in training and reflective practice sessions to implement best practice standards to assist in achieving personal goals.

Work collaboratively with the team to ensure holistic and consistent care.

Key Requirements:

Certifications: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Social Science and Psychology.

Experience: On-the-ground experience is preferred, applicants without experience may be considered if they are the right fit.

Availability: Available to work various shifts, particularly Active Overnight shifts.

Clearances: NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children, First Aid (including CPR), valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle.

Desirable: Experience in behaviour management and high-intensity clinical care situations.
