About You
You've got an accounting related education behind you and you’re in the early stages of your accounting career - looking to accelerate your development. Ideally, you’ve already had 1–2 years' experience in a public practice accounting firm. You’re motivated, reliable, and take pride in producing high-quality work. You want to learn, but you’re confident enough to take ownership of tasks with minimal hand-holding.

The Role
This is a full-time, in-office role (with some WFH flexibility once you’ve settled in). You’ll work closely with senior accountants to support their workloads, gradually building toward managing your own client portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)

Preparing individual tax returns

Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, and partnerships

Maintaining detailed and well-documented workpapers

Preparing Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns

Performing general bookkeeping using MYOB, Xero and QuickBooks

Processing payroll and finalising STP at EOFY

Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on behalf of clients

Learning how to complete SMSF admin & tax returns.
