We are actively hiring for "CICD Engineer” to work on significant projects for our esteemed clients.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CI/CD Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in infrastructure automation and pipeline engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, reliable, and secure deployments across our AWS-based microservices ecosystem.

This role requires deep experience in scripting with Shell and using AWS CloudFormation templates for infrastructure provisioning, as well as strong familiarity with AWS core services, including ECS Fargate, SQS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch etc. You will work closely with development and architecture teams to streamline build and deployment processes, ensuring code artefacts move efficiently and securely from development to containerized production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Nexus.

• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Shell scripting and AWS CloudFormation templates.

• Automate the deployment of microservices to ECS Fargate, ensuring containerised workloads are built, tested, and deployed efficiently.

• Implement infrastructure and application monitoring using AWS CloudWatch and Splunk.

• Configure centralized logging and alerting with Splunk, ensuring visibility into CI/CD workflows and production workloads.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing, build, and deployment workflows.

• Manage build artefacts and promote them across development, testing, and production environments.

• Define and manage IAM roles, resource policies, and permissions to support secure and compliant AWS environments.

• Support and improve deployment strategies for services using API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, and RDS.

• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline, infrastructure, and deployment issues in a timely manner.

• Contribute to DevOps best practices and documentation across the engineering team.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Shell scripts and AWS CloudFormation.

• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and configuration using Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Nexus.

• Experience with Splunk for centralized logging, dashboarding, and incident triage.

• Deep understanding of AWS core services including: API Gateway, SQS Queues, ECS Fargate, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, RDS.

• Experience with container lifecycle management and deployment into AWS ECS Fargate.

• Ability to automate build and deployment processes from code check-in to containerized service delivery.

• Strong scripting skills with Shell; additional knowledge of Python or Groovy is a plus.

• Familiarity with version control practices using Git (Bitbucket).

• Experience working in agile development environments.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to other IaC tools such as Terraform or CDK.

• Experience with Blue/Green or Canary deployment strategies.

• Knowledge of application-level security best practices.

• AWS certification (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS SysOps Administrator).
