About the role

Gendio Weighing is seeking a casual HC Truck Driver/Labourer to join our team in Geelong, VIC. As an HC Truck Driver/Labourer, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, delivering weighbridges and test weights to our customers work sites. This is a varied role that will see you driving heavy-duty trucks as well as assisting with general labouring/install duties.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating HC-licensed trucks to transport goods and materials

Loading and unloading trucks as required

Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles

Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation

Assisting with general warehouse and site duties as needed

Ensuring compliance with all relevant road transport regulations and safety protocols

What we're looking for

Valid HC driver's licence with a clean driving record

Relevant experience in a truck driving or delivery role, ideally in the road transport industry and experience with wide loads beneficial

Knowledge of safe loading and unloading practices

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks

Excellent communication and customer service skills
