We also do renovations so you will get the best of both worlds. We won’t throw you in the deep end, but if you have a good skill base in all aspects of carpentry then come on board.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our Brisbane-based team. The role is Full Time - 7am to 3pm with opportunity for overtime. This role requires strong carpentry skills and a good understanding of other trades and products in the building process. You will be working autonomously some days and with a team other days. You will need to manage you material requirements to some degree on all jobs. A professional, friendly attitude and the ability to build positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers are essential.

Key Responsibilities – Summary

Complete quality building jobs autonomously or in a team including but not limited to;

Demolition.

Structural repairs.

Balcony & deck repairs.

Renovation work. (extensions, bathrooms, new decks)

Soffit repairs.

Cladding repairs.

Bathroom renovations.

Window replacements.

Water testing.

Fix outs & more.

Maintain communication with Supervisor to ensure smooth running of the job.

Organise materials required for jobs from time to time.

Maintain a neat and tidy site and respect owners property and homes.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Maintain a log of works performed daily on job.

Liaise with owners and site contact as require for access.

What We’re Looking For

Trade Qualified Carpenter with 5+ years carpentry experience out of their time.

Experience in all facets of carpentry.

Full Tool Kit (Trailer preferred)

Vehicle that can carry materials

A current Open Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.

Lives in the Brisbane or Ipswich area.
