We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated gas plumber to join our close-knit team in providing quality maintenance, service, and breakdown repairs to our residential customers.

Duties and Responsibilities in the Role

You will be working within the Melbourne area carrying out domestic hot water system (air sourced heat pump) installations and gas heating decommissioning.

Identify and troubleshoot system problems, offering viable solutions.

Respond promptly and professionally to service requests.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork and documentation.

Servicing and maintaining hot water systems.

Providing training and regulatory updates.

Coordinate on-site supplies, materials, and work program

Liaising with your managers, team leaders and customers

Providing over the phone troubleshooting and solutions to the customer

Helping to ensure the scope of works is delivered on time

On-site labour

Maintain a clean and well stocked vehicle

Ensuring your work is completed in a timely, safe, professional and cost-effective manner

Skills and Experience

Hold a current VBA licence with gasfitting and hot water.

Competency with troubleshooting and repair of hot water systems.

Minimum 4 years in hot water system installations.

The ability to work without supervision

You should be reliable, honest, responsible and hardworking with good communication skills.

You must have a current drivers licence.

A good and positive attitude.

A great person who’s going to get along with the team.
